Will it damage my toilet/drain if I use this drain cleaner?

It will only cause an explosion in your face and blind you is all. That is why they tell you not to use it in a toilet. The curve of the toilet traps gasses and when you add cleaner to it , it causes an explosion. Get a plunger instead.
