I just recently had some surgeries done and I have a few questions...?

I just recently had a surgery because i have crohns disease, the doctor removed a section of my intestine and sutured the part back together. I became septic and had to go back into surgery and got an ileostemy. In six months i have to go back and get the ileostemy reversed. Could someone please explain to me how that procedure is done?
