How bad does it hurt to get a finger prick?

How bad does it hurt on a scale of 1-10 and how can I calm myself right before I get it later today. I hate shots and finger pricks. Also If you have any other good advise to help me then that would be great! I will confess i am a cry baby haha! so I need your help badly!!!!
