Ear Piercing question?

I had my ear pierced the first time when I was 5. I don't remember anything from it, but having to keep them in for a long time. About a week ago I got them pierced the second time on the lobe. I clean them out 3 or 4 times a day with an anti-septic, which stings like hell, and I rotate them and fiddle with them sometimes. I went to a water park about 4 days ago, and the earrings got rusted, the starter studs. when I got home, my mom said to go ahead and change them out really quickly, before it gets infected, so I did. Now it hurts even worse than it did before, they are redder than they were before, and it bleeds sometimes. Lots of crud like stuff comes off when I rotate my earrings. I feel stupid for not knowing this, but do you think it's infected? The anti-septic stings badly when I put it on..should it sting? I've had my cartilage pierced, my nose pierced, my eyebrow pierced, the inside cartilage pierced, and my lip pierced. Even those didn't go red, and didn't hurt that bad. What should I do about it?
