My ear is infected ? what should i do ?

I recently pierced my ear myself (about 5 weeks ago) and two days ago, i took the earring out and loads of puss came out, and it happened again when i took it out today. I have been taking it out to change it an clean it with anti septic spray, especially for piercings, everyday (which i know you shouldn't do) but it has been fine for 5 weeks and its only started 2 days ago. Will it get any worse ? and will it get serious to the point of it my whole ear swelling up ?
